Illinois
My profile was visited by someone from Illinois this week so this is some information about the place:
The State of Illinois is a state of the United States of America. Illinois has a broad economic base. Illinois is an important transportation hub; the Port of Chicago connects the Lakes to the Mississippi River via the Illinois River. Because Illinois is nearly 400 mile (640 km) length and mid-continental situation, Illinois has a widely varying climate with hot, humid summers and cool to cold winters.
Illinois has numerous museums. The state of the art Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield is the largest presidential library in the country. Illinois also has many Protestants who are the largest religious group in Illinois. However, Illinois is not as heavily Protestant as neighboring states are. Roman Catholics, who are heavily concentrated in and around Chicago, account for 30% of the population.
